Privacy

Harbor keeps your blocklists, sessions, tasks, parked thoughts, and Scorecard on your Mac. The app has no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. Mile Square Computer Co. never sees what you block or how you spend your time.
What leaves your Mac
Harbor only connects to other services for these features:
- Harbor Pro, through Polar. When you activate Pro, Harbor sends your license key and your Mac’s name to Polar, and checks the key with Polar about once a day. Polar handles payment as the merchant of record. Their privacy policy covers your purchase.
- Spotify. If you connect Spotify, Harbor reads your playlists and controls playback through Spotify’s Web API. Your sign-in tokens are kept in the macOS Keychain. Playlist artwork comes from Spotify. Spotify’s privacy policy applies.
- Apple Music. If you choose an Apple Music playlist or album, Harbor plays it through Apple’s MusicKit, with your permission. Apple’s privacy policy applies.
The browser extension
The Harbor extension gets the current block list from the Harbor app on your own Mac and shows Harbor’s page on sites you’ve blocked. It doesn’t read pages, record your browsing, or send anything off your Mac.
This website
This site counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It records which pages are viewed, the referring site, and your browser, operating system, device type, and country, without cookies. Visits are grouped by an anonymous identifier that resets every day, so nothing identifies you or follows you to other sites. The Harbor app itself has no analytics.
